Jazeera Airways is looking for Planning Engineers to be based in Kuwait who will be responsible for forecasting and scheduling maintenance tasks and evaluating accomplished maintenance records according to applicable standards.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Plans and schedules all maintenance tasks, ensuring all necessary resources are available.

• Forecasts and develops work packages for maintenance checks and major maintenance activities in alignment with the Company’s maintenance program.

• Monitors compliance with aircraft phase-in and phase-out procedures and heavy checks.

• Coordinates with Line Maintenance or outsourced MRO to ensure adherence to scheduled maintenance.

• Monitors the Maintenance Provider’s planning, organization, implementation and workload control during scheduled checks.

• Enforces the contract between Jazeera Airways and the service provider to optimize maintenance costs without compromising aircraft safety.

• Oversees maintenance work assigned to the production line to ensure plans and schedules are met.

• Represents Jazeera Airways as a Project or Technical Representative for Base Maintenance, aircraft acquisition and redelivery.

• Monitors aircraft during heavy maintenance checks and coordinates with the Approved Maintenance Organization.

• Submits daily work progress reports aligned with the Gantt chart.

• Maintains updated work status for rapid response to other departments.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Degree in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

• Three years’ aviation experience in a related field.

• Knowledge of EASA Part M, EASA Part 145 and Kuwait DGCA regulations.

• Knowledge of aircraft regulations and standards applicable to the Jazeera fleet.

• Ability to read and understand technical publications.

• Knowledge of airline application-based ERP systems.

• Strong decision-making, problem-solving and negotiation skills.
